Getting Started
How do I know if I need an accountant?
If you are unsure what you can claim, have fallen behind on paperwork, need help with a tax return, or want someone to look at the numbers before you make a business decision, it is worth having a conversation. We work with individuals, families, sole traders and growing businesses across Sydney's Inner West.
What's the difference between an accountant and a bookkeeper?
A bookkeeper keeps the day-to-day financial records organised: invoices, bills, bank reconciliations and the information behind your BAS. An accountant uses those records for tax, reporting, compliance and planning.
Do I need to be a business to work with you?
Not at all. We help individuals and families with personal tax returns, investment properties and tax-related questions, as well as sole traders and companies.
Working With Us
How does remote accounting actually work?
Most things can be handled online via video calls, email, and digital document signing, without making it feel impersonal. You can still pick up the phone when it is easier to talk something through.
What software do you use?
Xero is our main platform for bookkeeping and business clients because it gives you a clear view of what is happening. If you already use another system, that is fine too.
Pricing & Quotes
How much do you charge?
Fees depend on the work involved, the records available and the complexity of your circumstances. We offer transparent, upfront estimates using our Fee Schedule Quoting tool.
Are there any hidden fees?
Our fee proposals set out the work agreed from the start. If something changes or extra work is needed, we will explain why and discuss it before proceeding.
